🕧Timeline for Plasma Therapy 🕚

🕦Timeline for Plasma Therapy 🕤

DAYS 1-3 – INFLAMMATION STAGE  (1st response to wound healing is release of histamine … this swells the area substantially for 3 days)

DAYS 5-7 – EXFOLIATION STAGE
(2nd response to wound healing is the natural shedding of the crusts. Macrophages have now cleaned up the area & are happy that the surface is closed)

DAYS 5-28 – FIBROBLASTIC STAGE
(3rd response to wound healing when the signalling between fibroblasts begin & they proliferate collagen 1 to replace collagen 3, proliferate elastin & hyaluronic acid.

WEEK 4-12 MATURATION STAGE
(The collagen 1, elastin & hyaluronic acid cross link with each other to become strong bundles. This is when the dermis becomes strong and tensile, the skin tightens and smooths as the dermis is able to support the epidermis.

12 weeks fully healed  ❤️
Vitamin C with Zinc will aid collagen production. High Factor UV protection will help prevent breaking down of collagen. UV radiation is ALWAYS in daylight throughout the year. Protect with natural barrier UV cream daily.
